Intranet DASHBOARD Now The # 1 Choice For Media Companies Demanding Next-Gen Intranet Capabilities
International award winning intranet software company Intranet DASHBOARD, today announced it had secured another media company client adding to its already significant presence in this vertical sector in both the US and Australia.
Campbell Dobbin, CEO of Intranet DASHBOARD said iD now operated in two TV networks, a national radio network, and seven print media companies, across the organizations including sales and operations.
The latest win is Seven Network Limited who are using iD to bring together their sales division, pull together databases such as salesforce.com, share resources and documents, provide a platform for motivational communications and news for sales staff and enhance the ability to cross-sell other products and discover other sales opportunities amongst the team.
Research at one media organization using iD found on average the 600 plus employees spent 20 minutes each day accessing information, news, and collaborative features of the intranet, and accessed the site up to 330 times per month.
Dmg Radio executive Tim English said: "We estimate that having this central one-stop-shop, plus content management efficiencies, can liberate A$600K [US$480K] of paid staff time for more productive tasks each year."
At Nine Network Australia, which has been using the iD software since 2005, Peter Clarke, Corporate IT Manager, Nine Network Australia says: "We needed to implement a highly functional, low-maintenance, intranet solution without investing expensive developer time re-inventing the wheel. Intranet DASHBOARD met all our requirements and the iD team continue to develop their product to address our needs."
Dobbin said national media networks were ideally suited for the rich collaborative and information sharing features offered in iD software. "They demand real time communication and information exchange across disparate offices, massive distances, and active teams in the field. iD is the ultimate business and human resources connector for such organizations."
The media line up now using iD includes:
- The Seven Network
- Nine Network Australia
- Fairfax Media ( NZ )
- DMG Radio
- STW Communications
- The Photon Group
- The Riverina Media Group
- Southern Connecticut Newspapers, Inc (US)
- Outdoor Channel Holdings (US)
- Independent Newspapers Limited (South Africa)
