The former CEO of Hitwise, Andrew Walsh, has joined software house THE ADWEB Agency as Executive Chairman, following the high profile US $260M sale of Hitwise in 2007.
Walsh returned to Australia from the U.S. in January 2008 following the conclusion of the sale and has had his eyes open for his next major business venture since. He cites his hobby as building companies which he describes as, “The best job in the world”.
In his new role with ADWEB, Walsh will focus on the expansion of the company’s flagship software solution – Intranet DASHBOARD – across international markets with a focus on North America. Read more »

We are happy to announce Kathmandu as the newest member of the iD family. The selection of iD over major competitors such as SharePoint seems to have caused quite the stir.
Intranet DASHBOARD has has scored another major corporate client, lassoing Outdoor clothing retailer Kathmandu.
Kathmandu has implemented the intranet service across its 80 stores in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK to improve internal communications through more timely and efficient information sharing. Kathmandu selected the iD communications platform over Microsoft SharePoint, after discovering it offered most the features it needed straight out of the box, for a fraction of the price.
“We discovered iD on the internet and lined it up against SharePoint to find it offered significantly more value for money,” said Bryan Moore, general manager of Information Systems at Kathmandu. “It was also much less complex, making our decision a no-brainer.” Read more »

Intranet DASHBOARD would like to congratulate two of our clients, Shell and Lloyd’s TSB for winning Best Intranet Design and Best Intranet Content respectively, at the 2006 International Benchmarking Forum Intranet of the Year Awards in London.
Based on the IBF’s ongoing work to evaluate members’ intranets, the top 10 intranets were shortlisted in each of the award categories. These intranets were then put in front of a panel of judges made up of IBF members and IBF staff.

Intranet DASHBOARD 1.4 is now available. The new version includes a host of new features such as advanced language support, contact management and new SMS capabilities.
The new features are Language Localisation, which allows multiple language settings and customisation of system messages to suit an audience, and Contact Manager which assists the management, maintenance and sharing of contacts, including adding new contacts and details via SMS.
The software is a comprehensive content publishing system, enabling non-technical staff to create and manage intranet sites with ease.

The United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda has selected Intranet DASHBOARD to consolidate the information collected by the Office of the Prosecution in impeaching leaders of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda.
